Not Sure Which Dometic or Thetford Toilet You Have? Look Up Your Model by Item Number

You know the feeling. The seal is shot, the water valve is leaking, or the pedal has snapped off. You're ready to fix it, but every parts page asks the same question: which model do you have?

You have a number from the box, an old invoice or the manual. You just don't know what it means.

That's why we built the Toilet Model Finder. Type in the item number, and it tells you the model.

How it works

1. Go to the Toilet Model Finder
2. Type your item number into the search box. Use the Dometic box for Dometic toilets and the Thetford box for Thetford.
3. Read your result: the model name, plus details like the color, the profile (high or low) and any options that go with that number.
4. Shop the parts for that model.

What the finder tells you

For Dometic toilets, enter the 10-digit Dometic item number or the older 9-digit legacy number. For example, 9610007270 is a 7120 model. You'll also see the series, the description Dometic uses, and the reference list number and page for that model's parts list.

For Thetford toilets, enter the item number, usually five digits. For example, 34429 is an Aqua-Magic Style Plus in white, high profile. For many Thetford models you'll also see the rough-in distance, which is handy if you're thinking about a replacement and not just a repair.

You can also search by model name, like Style II, Bravura or 310, if you want to see all the versions.

Where to find your item number

Check the label or data tag on the toilet itself, your owner's manual, or an old invoice or receipt. Thetford says its data tag is usually on the back of the toilet, though some models have it on the base. It can be a tight spot to reach, so a phone camera on a selfie stick (or a flashlight and some patience) helps.

What it doesn't cover yet

We want to be upfront about this.

• Dometic: the finder uses Dometic's 2024 parts guide, so toilets released after that may not appear. 
• Thetford: it uses Thetford's 2021 catalog plus their current permanent-toilet listing. Older toilets like the Aqua-Magic IV, Style Lite, Galaxy and Starlite aren't included, and marine toilets aren't yet either.
• Always double-check. The finder is a shortcut, not a replacement for the data tag on your toilet. Compare before you order.
